Thursday Feb. 2nd, 2012: There will be a change of schedule as of Thursady, Feb. 2nd 2012. The advanced class Green + will be held from 6:30pm - 7:30pm and there will be an open class being held from 7:45pm - 8:45pm. That is for anyone who wishes to attend. There will NOT be a class on SUNDAY. That day will be open for privates and exam scheduling. Thank you very much for your understanding and hope to see you out to the open class.
Sunday, December 12th, 2010:
Five Animal Kung Fu will be
closed during the Christmas holidays from December 23rd,
2010 until Jan. 3rd, 2011. Classes will resume on Jan.
4th, 2010. Have a very happy holiday and seasons
greetings to one and all.
Monday, September 6th, 2010:
There will be classes tonight, at
the regular time Advance 7pm - 8pm and Novice from 8pm -
9pm. See you in class.
Thursday, July 29th, 2010:
There will be classes on Sunday
August 1st, 2010 but no class on Monday August 2nd,

some videos of the class sparring and demos and pictures
from the Halifax Martial Arts Expo back in March. They

I would like to thank Jamie for taking
care of the school while I was away to Jamaica for my
Sister's wedding. It is not my policy to leave the
school for such a long time without stopping classes but
I knew that I was leaving everyone in good hands. Thanks
to all who did attend his classes. I've only heard great
things. Once again Thank you very much Jamie!

29th: I will not
be in class on Monday, June 30th. Something came up that
I have to take care of. Jamie will be doing the classes
on Monday night and the school will be closed on
Tuesday, July 1st. See you all on Wednesday night.

29th: Sorry all for not
updating the news section since June 5th. Been really
busy trying to get the DVD advertised and other little
things like that. I will try to give you all a quick
recap of events since last post.
1. Congratulations to Lucas and Thomas on receiving
their yellow sash and to Ashley for her orange sash.
Friday, June 27th
was Ibrahem's last class with up. Sadly he is moving
back to France. We are all going to miss you Ibrahem.
You have a kind soul. Keep up your training whenever you
can. Better to have a little of something to practice
than nothing.
Thursday June
5th: For those of you who
haven't had a chance to watch the Eastlink Magazine
interview that has been playing on channel 10 all week
this week, I've been able to upload it to my computer.
Hope you enjoy the interview. I know we enjoyed doing
it. Thank you very much Peter Mumford of Compass
Communication for doing such a great job on the press
release and on setting up the interview.
On Thursday May 22nd:
At 6pm Eastlink is going to be doing an interview
with at the school. The interview will be on the
F.I.T. DVD and the kung fu classes and how it is
making a difference to people!

Friday, May 2nd was Jeff's last class at Kung Fu. He
moved to N.B. on Saturday morning. We'll miss you
Jeff. Hope you continue your training and come visit
us whenever you're in Halifax.
Dave did he Yellow Sash exam today. Congratulations
to you Dave.
Congratulations to all those who went to Amherst on
Saturday May 3rd for the tournament. I am very proud
of all of you on a job well done. You all
represented Five Animal Kung Fu very well. You all
make my stay in even that more meaningful. Keep up
the great work!
Ashley, Lucas, Wes, Leslie, Aldore, Ibrahem, Sean,
Ryan, Haley, Andrew and Sujani all did very well.

Saturday April 19th:
Congratulations to Jamie on an excellent Blue Sash
Exam. Jamie is only the 5th student in my 12 years
of being here in Halifax who got a perfect 10 on
Stances in the Test. Keep up the great work Jamie!
Wednesday April 16th:
Gilles did his Orange Sash test today. All the hard
work he has put into his training finally paid off.
Gilles is now Orange Sash. Congratulations to you
Sir!
Tuesday April 15th:
Congratulations to Mitch for doing a very, very well
done test for his Orange Sash!. You've come a long
way. Keep up the good work Mitch.
Monday April 14th: To
make life easier Five Animal Kung Fu will now accept
DEBIT payments right at the School. Yeah you heard
it right!
Sunday April 13th:
Congratulations to Tae on a job well done on his
Blue Sash Exam and to Sophie also on a job well done
on her Orange Sash Exam. Keep up the good work both
of you.
It is really nice to see the school growing.
Has taken a very long time but it's heading in the

Sunday, March 30th:
Yesterday, there was a Mix Martial Arts Tournament
in Truro Nova Scotia. Five of my student
participated and despite the rules not being catered
to our style, did very well. Haley won Gold in Forms
doing the Complete Tiger. Sujani won Gold in
Sparring & Silver in Forms doing Complete Tiger.
Mitch won Gold in Forms doing complete Tiger and
Bronze in Sparring . Sean won Gold in Forms Complete
Snake, Silver in Sparring and Silver in Weapons
doing Advance Staff. Ryan won Gold in Forms, doing
Complete Crane, Gold in Weapons doing Sai and had to
leave for before sparring. Congratulations to all. I
am very proud of you. Keep up the good work.
Sunday March 30th:
Today Hayley did her Orange Sash Exam and did very
well. Congratulations Haley.
